Cellulase enzyme TS-9 Technical Data Sheet
Description: Cellulase enzyme TS-9 is an engineered cellulase designed for textile applications such as fabric and garment biofinishing (i.e. depilling, surface modifications and softening) and is supplied as a concentrated liquid. Cellulase enzyme TS-9 is also suitable for denim washing.
Typical Characteristics Appearance Amber Liquid Activity 10000 CMCU/mL (minimum) pH value 4.0 5.0 Specific gravity 1.10 - 1.20 Advantage Concentrated product can be used directly or further dilution Very good performance/price ratio Good color retention Good de-pilling effect Relatively low strength loss Soften handle with greater drapability
Applications Cellulase enzyme TS-9 is suitable for biofinishing (i.e. softening, surface fiber removal, depilling) of various types of cellulosic fabrics and garments. Biopolishing can be arranged either before or after dying, depending on the desired effects.
Typical biopolishing conditions Equipment overflow, winch, jet dying machines or laundry washer. Dosage 0.3-2.0% o.w.f Liquor ratio 1:5 1:20 pH 4.5 5.5 TMP 45 - 60 Treatment time 30 - 60 mins.
Enzyme Inactivation All cellulase enzymes should be inactivated after the desired effect is obtained. Insufficient inactivation can result in extended exposure of the garment or fabric to active cellulase. This unintended exposure can cause undesirable strength loss.
Cellulase enzyme TS-9 can be inactived by one of the following procedures.
hold the bath at pH0 for 10 minutes. Sodium carbonate is recommended for pH adjustment hold the temperature 70for 10 minutes.
Packaging Standard packaging is 30kg or 200kg drum
Storage To ensure extend shelf life, store Cellulase enzyme TS-9 at 25℃or below in a sealed container. Exposure of this product to elevated temperatures for prolonged periods of time may result in loss of activity.
Safety Enzyme Handing Inhalation of enzyme dust and mists should be avoid |
